Video Production
Emmy Winning Work
My most recent work has been with the Washington Capitals telling the stories surrounding the team, both on and off the ice. The team won an Capital regional Emmy in the Sports Program – Post-Produced or Edited category. You can find more of my television credits on my IMDB page.
scene work
with over 20 years of production experience, I provide a professional level of story telling beyond the typical slick footage and fast paced editing - like this scene from Nat Geo WILD’s Bandit Patrol, produced and shot as a one person crew.
pennsylvania ballet
hidden city philadelphia:
my favorite place
growing up in the dance studio it was natural for me to imagine creating a film with dancers around the city. when the pennsylvania ballet approached me to film their short piece to play before performing Episode 31 i jumped on it! running around the city capturing the dancers moving - and the reactions they got - was a great way to spend the afternoon. and watching the film in the theater with the ballet’s audience - rather than imagining people watching it from their couches at home - made me speechless.
telling the secret stories of favorite overlooked places from the folks that love them is right up my alley. i love a detailed look at what could be seen as mundane - finding beauty in the little things and interest in the everyday.
temple contemporary:
funeral for a row home
creating stories around performance art with organizations including temple contemporary connects me with my art background. i love hearing about the inspiration and methods behind amazing projects including this one where artists worked with the Mantua community to create a literal funeral for a row home that was demolished.
